Privacy notice

Last updated: 25/09/2026

This explains what we do with your information when you download a guide from us, book a call, or get emails, texts or WhatsApp messages from us. It is written to be read rather than to cover us, so if anything here is unclear, ask and we will answer plainly.

Who we are

Clear Path Academy Ltd, trading as Sellers Edge, company number 16380050, registered at 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, England, IP28 7DE. We are the data controller for the information described here.

For anything to do with your data, email [email protected].

What we collect

  • Your first name, email address and phone number, when you enter them to request a guide or book a call.
  • A record of your consent: which boxes you ticked (email, and text and WhatsApp), the wording you agreed to and the time you agreed to it.
  • How you arrived: the page you were on and any tracking values in the link, such as which platform or which post sent you.
  • Whether you opened our emails and whether you clicked the links in them.

We do not ask for your date of birth, your address, your financial details, or anything about your health. If you send us those things in a reply, we will not store them beyond that conversation.

Why we hold it, and on what basis

  • To send you the guide you asked for. You asked, so we need your email to deliver it. Lawful basis: performance of what you requested.
  • To email you afterwards about the mentorship. Lawful basis: your consent, given by ticking the email box. You can withdraw it at any time and we stop.
  • To text or WhatsApp you afterwards. Lawful basis: your consent, given by ticking the separate text and WhatsApp box. Reply STOP at any time and we stop.
  • To call you about the guide and whether our mentorship suits you. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in following up with people who asked for our material. We do not call numbers registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and if you tell us not to call, we will not.
  • To understand which content brings people in. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in knowing what works, balanced against the fact that this involves nothing more sensitive than which link you clicked.

How to stop hearing from us

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Use it and you come off the list immediately, with no follow up asking why. You can also email us and ask, and you can ask us to delete your record entirely rather than just suppress it.

For texts and WhatsApp, reply STOP to any message. For calls, tell us on the call or by email and we will not call you again.

Affiliate links

Some of our guides contain affiliate links, including to business banking providers. If you open an account through one of those links we may be paid a fee by that provider. It costs you nothing and it does not change what you are offered. We do not pass your details to those providers. They only know that a referral came from us if you go on to sign up with them yourself, and their own privacy policy governs anything you do on their site.

Who else sees your data

We use a small number of suppliers who process data on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect it:

  • HighLevel for our CRM, email and text sending, forms and scheduling.
  • WhatsApp, run by Meta, only if you have agreed to hear from us on WhatsApp.
  • Our website and hosting providers, which handle the page you are reading.

Some of these are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens the transfer is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent safeguards.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with other coaches, agencies or list brokers.

How long we keep it

If you become a client, for as long as you are one and for six years afterwards, because our accountant needs us to. If you download a guide and never buy anything, we keep your record for two years from your last interaction with us, then delete it. If you unsubscribe, we keep only the minimum needed to make sure we do not email you again by accident.

Cookies and tracking

This site stores a small amount of information in your browser during your visit so that the pages work properly and so we know which link brought you here. It clears when you close the tab. We do not currently run advertising or analytics trackers on the pages that collect your details. If that changes we will ask you first.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to us using it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will deal with it within one month, at no cost.

If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first, but you are not obliged to.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant and you are on our list, we will tell you by email rather than quietly editing the page.

Sellers Edge provides education and mentorship. Nothing on our sites is financial, tax, investment or legal advice. Selling on Amazon carries a real risk of loss, including the loss of your full capital.
